The conference registration fee includes:

• Admission to all conference sessions

Student registration

Registration for students is complimentary, and includes admission to all technical sessions, exhibition and coffee breaks. Students are required to provide a student ID number when pre-registering online, and provide a copy of their current student ID upon collection of badges at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Payment details

Registration fees are payable in US Dollars only. Only Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express and Visa will be accepted as payment of registration fees.

Cancellation policy

All conference registration cancellations or changes must be received in writing at Arabian Exhibition Management’s office by 8 September 2011. All conference registration cancellations will be charged a fee of BD38 (USD100) per delegate. Refunds, less cancellation charges, will be made until 8 September 2011 after which date no refunds will be made. No refunds will be made if a delegate fails to attend.

Badge pickup and conference materials

Badges and conference materials may be collected at the registration desks during registration opening hours.

Conference proceedings

The full text for each paper presented at the conference is published in the conference proceedings on a USB drive together with technical diagrams and illustrations. A copy of the conference proceedings on a USB drive is included in the full conference registration fee. Proceedings can be collected from the SPE stand in the exhibition hall. Additional copies can be purchased at USD 200 for SPE members and USD 300 for non-members.

Lunches

Lunches will be served on Monday 26 September from 1230–1400 hours, Tuesday 27 September from 1230–1330 hours and Wednesday 28 September from 1300–1400 hours. Lunch tickets for all days are included in the full conference registration fee. Additional lunch tickets cost USD 45 and can be purchased at the registration desk.

Conference dinner reception

A conference dinner reception for delegates will be held on Sunday 25 September at 2000 hours at the Al Ghazal Ballroom, Ritz Carlton Hotel immediately following the opening ceremony and executive plenary session. Dinner invitations are included in the full conference registration fee.

Entry conditions

MEOS 2011 is open only to professionals involved in the petroleum industry.  Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted.
